Beer Banned Cartoon

Just having a little fun today.  We're always talking and sharing anything beer and I found this today while looking for good videos on craft brews.  It's a banned episode of some LooneyToons episode for kids about the evils of alcohol - which I gues are belching, growing instant chin whiskers, going to the bar, dressing like a hobo, soap bubbles, and girls wanting nothing to with you.  Doesn't sound too far off.

Seriously, enjoy this and remember all the reasons why your craft brews from Pitcher of Nectar DON'T make you into a moron.  We all know they make you smarter because they show you have sophisticated taste for enjoying lovingly made products rather than mass produced swill (ahem...).

Oh, and by the way, it also seems from the cartoon that one bottle of beer will make you commit grand theft auto.

Beer Advocate Highlights Rock Art Triple

Howdy beer lovers of the world!  Pitcher of Nectar is still chugging along (pun intended) and moving craft beers and liquors out around the sunny state of Arizona.  We know we love our beers, but recently we got some great news from a more nationally respected organization - Beer Advocate - that some of our beers are high up on their list, and so we wanted to share.  If you're not familiar with Beer Advocate, they do pretty much what their name says - they do advocacy in the name of fine craft brews so that people can learn about what is happening regarding small, medium, and large micro-breweries.  Their staff pretty much can't be beaten for the most discerning palates out there.

Recently, our Rock Art Triple Golden got a B+ in the Beer Advocate and this is what they had to say: "They get what is going on and dig the whole Extreme Beer thing....Pours with a beautiful crown of off white lace, a bit dark for the Triple we're used to, but the clarity is stunning.  Clean, warming ginger, apricot fruitiness, from the alochol and a raw honey like malt sweetness in the nose.  So damn smooth, velvety, and lush on the palate.  Flavors are easy to pick out, yet they meld together very well.  Malt jumps toward bready, then exhibits more of a nougat flavor. ...

"Without a doubt, this one sets itself away from the other Triples with the unique flavor of ginger, yet stays well within the style's boundaries at the same time. It's great to see another American brewer get the whole Belgian thing right!"

A rating of B+ from Beer Advocate is an event to be celebrated, so go on out to one of our local distribution spots and tip back a Tripple to learn what its all about!  Big thanks to BA for rating someo of our beers and also to Rock Art Golden Triple for creating a delicious beverage.  Check in soon when we write about BA's review of Rock Art's Double IPA (II).
